Hexcel is currently seeking a Manager, Corporate Communications for its global business. This position will be located at our global headquarters in Stamford, CT
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
Developing content and supporting materials that drive employee engagement across all sites and all functions in support of company objectives and global corporate initiatives.
Developing and maintaining multiple communication channels (including web, video, visual, social and others) to reach a diverse workforce that speaks multiple languages, works different shifts in different time zones, and may not be connected electronically to company communications.
Developing content that is clear and effective at all levels and content for websites, publications, and presentations.
Managing special projects that would involve creating print materials, video, social media campaigns and more.
Providing communication and design support for meetings and events.
Establishing and maintaining cost-effective, productive working relationships with external professionals including writers, consultants, content development experts, graphic design services, commercial printers, and fulfillment houses.
Bachelor’s degree required; prefer degree in public relations, journalism or other communications-related field.
Five to seven years of experience in a communications role within a corporation or agency supporting global communications efforts and leaders.
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills; able to understand, simplify, and communicate complex technical business performance and financial data.
Intermediate to advanced skills in graphic design and expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
Project management skills and experience.
High level of energy, creativity and flexibility with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and deal with changing situations.
Ability to design and execute highly creative, effective, efficient communications strategies, with minimal guidance, leveraging the full range of best practices in communications.
Ability to comprehend and apply complex information to create compelling communications.
