About Swift Textile Metalizing LLC
STM has a long manufacturing history in Hartford, Connecticut and was founded in 1955 by the same Swift family that started M. Swift and Sons in Hartford’s North End in 1887. M. Swift did gold leaf, including the renovation of the Capitol dome in the 1970’s.
Building on this expertise, we have developed a proprietary process which bonds metal to fabric at the molecular level, essentially melding the fabric to the metal. The result is a highly durable product that stands up to conditions of flexing, bending, stretching or abrading, making our fabrics the first choice for a wide range of industries and applications.
We strive for “Operational Excellence” and have received several accolades in recognition of our services. Our focus is in providing innovative solutions for a wide range of applications for our products. In addition, we are developing cutting edge technologies allowing us to grow in our quest to diversify our product line.
At STM we have founded our culture on trust, respect and teamwork. This has created a strong unified team where we come together to achieve the goals set before us no matter what challenges we may encounter.
